Heheh like 1 AND a half months early Didnt expect it THAT early, eh?
To tell you the truth, I didnt expect it myself that early. But I had found a spare copy of the sketch on my flash drive (which I have no idea how ended up there in the first place lol) sometime ago and decided might as well start it early in secret and surprise you and ,yap, I seem to be unable to draw anyone but Deathly Presence, she is sooooooooo cute <3 She definitely has got to meet my charrie, Savage at one point in time
I sincerely hope you like how it turned out I tried my best to correct any anatomy mistakes I could find...but oh well, amateur artist is amateur and drawing it without a reference in the first place .since my old PC just quit on me, successfully cutting me from all of my pics *sighs*
Done from a pencil sketch mostly in Corel PhotoPaint 12 with minor reference to Corel Draw 12 and Photoshop Elements 6. The sketch was drawn almost 5 months ago as a return gift for my amazing avatar Chassie did for me. Jeez, Chassie, please remind me who owes who now the next pic? I am lost lol Originally, there was no lower body and tale, but when I was redrawing it, I kinda got carried away a bit lol and that was the result Also, I tried myself at backgrounds and hope that turned out ok, too.
Some of my favourate parts have got to be the eyes and the hair, naturally. Originally, I planned to make the eyes based on one of the realistic tutorials I found on DA, but I just couldnt get it right, gave up and just drew the eyes using my own style with a realistic in mind and it turned out soooo much better _ than I had originally anticipated
I have learned with this one how to work properly with layers in CPP 12 and different brush settings (jeez, even learned how to create brushes), as well as with the multiply function which I used on the eyes. And I am slowly trying to learn some elements of the realistic style of painting I am also trying myself at a higher level of shading...Experimentation, experimentation and once again experimentation Though, I decided not to shade her whole body for now: dont have the reference and I didnt want to spoil it
As for the time I didnt even bother timing myself I knew it would take quite a awhile, and I can bet it easily equals 50 hours for sure if not exceeds it The tail alone took 9 hours to finish with all the abnormal detailing and 16 layers of different shades of white and black lol and by the time I had finished it, I and my tablet were ready to drop dead on spot XD I have worked for almost 2 weeks on this one and I am glad I can finally present the result of my effort
P.S. I have tried to post this yesterday, but there was something wrong with dA and I could barely post a comment let alone a new pic...But dA is finally working
You can't believe how glad I am you loved it! You kept me in suspense the whole weekend for this reason lol! I hope, I haven't missed any details on her and got the scars and the colours right ...
Jeez. You are planning yet another gift for me? How on Earth am I gonna catch up with you lol ?
It's so pretty! I really love how you did the "wind." I suppose that's what it would be, considering the title It's a wonderful piece, I'm so glad to see your friend liked it so much

All those memories, lost in time, like tears in the rain.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
